Terms of Use

1. Scope of Service

Fudoe is an information tool that analyzes ingredient lists of food and dietary supplement products using artificial intelligence. The application is intended for informational purposes only.

2. Medical Disclaimer

Fudoe does not provide medical advice. Application outputs do not replace the opinion of a doctor, dietitian, or pharmacist. Please consult a qualified professional for any health-related decisions.

3. Analysis Limitations

• Analysis results are based on the AI's training data and real-time source retrieval; they may contain errors.
• Fudoe cannot be held responsible for formulation changes made by manufacturers.
• Blurry, incomplete, or misread labels may produce inaccurate results.

4. User Obligations

• You agree not to abuse the system (bots, automated requests, etc.).
• You are responsible for the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• Users under 18 must use the application under parental supervision.
• In the event of detected misuse, your account may be temporarily suspended without prior notice. You may appeal a suspension decision by writing to [email protected]; appeals are reviewed within 5 business days.

5. Intellectual Property

The Fudoe brand, design, and software are our property, all rights reserved. Copying, distributing, or reverse-engineering the source code without permission is prohibited.

6. Subscription and Payment

• Free plan: Includes 5 analyses per month.
• Pro plan: 30 analyses per day. Available as monthly or annual subscription.
• Analyst plan: 100 analyses per day. Available as monthly or annual subscription.
• Subscriptions are managed through the App Store / Google Play and automatically renew at the end of each period. Refund conditions are subject to the respective store policies.
• To cancel your subscription, use the subscription management settings in the respective store.
• Annual plans are prepaid; unused time is not refunded upon cancellation.
• Price changes to subscription plans will be communicated at least 30 days in advance via email or in-app notification. Your current price remains valid until the end of the ongoing billing period.

7. Service Interruptions

Service may be temporarily unavailable due to planned maintenance or technical issues. Planned maintenance will be announced in advance where possible. If an interruption exceeds 24 hours, the downtime is automatically added to your subscription term — no refund request is needed. In the event of permanent service termination, at least 30 days' notice will be provided and any unused subscription time will be refunded.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fudoe shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the subscription fee paid during the relevant period.

9. Changes

We reserve the right to update these terms. Material changes will be communicated at least 14 days before taking effect via your registered email address or in-app notification. Continued use of the app after the effective date of any change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The current version is always available at fudoe.com/en/terms.

10. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by Turkish law. Turkish courts have jurisdiction over any disputes.

11. Apple App Store Terms

If you obtained the Application through the Apple App Store, the following additional terms apply. These provisions are required by Apple Inc.'s custom EULA requirements (Schedule 2).

11.1 Parties to the Agreement. This agreement is concluded between you and Fudoe only, and not with Apple Inc. ("Apple"). Fudoe — not Apple — is solely responsible for the Application and its content.

11.2 Scope of License. The license granted is a non-transferable license to use the Application on any Apple-branded products that you own or control and as permitted by Apple's App Store Usage Rules.

11.3 Maintenance and Support. Fudoe is solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support services with respect to the Application. You and Fudoe acknowledge that Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance and support services with respect to the Application.

11.4 Warranty. In the event of any failure of the Application to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price for the Application to you. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the Application, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to any failure to conform to any warranty will be Fudoe's sole responsibility.

11.5 Product Claims. Fudoe — not Apple — is responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the Application or your possession and use of the Application, including but not limited to: (i) product liability claims; (ii) any claim that the Application fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (iii) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation.

11.6 Intellectual Property Rights. In the event of any third-party claim that the Application or your possession and use of the Application infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, Fudoe — not Apple — will be solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any such intellectual property infringement claim.

11.7 Legal Compliance. You represent and warrant that (i) you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country; and (ii) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

11.8 Third-Party Terms of Agreement. You must comply with applicable third-party terms of agreement when using the Application (e.g., your wireless data service agreement).

11.9 Third-Party Beneficiary. You and Fudoe acknowledge and agree that Apple, and Apple's subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement, and that, upon your acceptance of the terms and conditions of this agreement, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce this agreement against you as a third-party beneficiary thereof.
